This was Tidy Trax launch party for its new club night - Ultraviolet. Located at The Coronet, one of London's hottest new venues (formerly a cinema),with headliners DJ Scot Project (a last minute stand-in for Yoji Biomehanika), The Tidy Boys, Guyver and Tara Reynolds it was set to be an explosive night.
The Coronet itself is split over 3 rooms. The main arena with a huge dancefloor, surrounded by terraces featured amazing lighting and a laser with crisp, sharp sound around the whole room. The other two rooms were much smaller proving them less popular but still attracting a large crowd.
The only faults we could find were that there was nowhere to sit down - the bouncers always moved you on wherever you tried to sit. Also the drinks were a little pricey with a bottle of water coming in at £2 and a bottle or pint of beer £4 - We recommend you steer away from the pints as all of the pints we had were flat and didn't taste too great (in fact we took about 4 pints back before finally giving up and settling for a bottle!).
The music was hard and trancey right from the outset with Tara Reynolds all the way through to one of the masters of hard trance - Scot Project, with the Tidy Boys going for the award of hardest set of the night.
