Club Alter Ego     (House)
Club AlterEgo aims to attract a mixed crowd of fun loving clubbers after it’s £250k makeover which included a new OHM sound system, 2 rooms of house and backroom beats, a state of the art lighting system great decor. Years ago this club was previously 'Equinox' and the infamous 'Manumission' club night also resided here.

Situated on the edge of the fashionable Northern Quarter of Manchester, North has 2 rooms and therefore 2 music styles, which are usually Funky Electro & HardDance. 42nd Street hosts indie and alternative nights as well as live bands and gigs. 42nd Street is situated off Deansgate and just a few steps from the bars on Peter Street.

5th Avenue     (Live Music/Indie/Rock)
5th Avenue is one of Manchester's great indie experiences, hosting some of the biggest and best indie club nights in the city. Attracting largely student clubbers, 5th Avenue have become the student capital of the North West. When the infamous Hacienda closed in 1997 and bar culture took over Manchester, 5th Avenue kept going strong and is now more successful than ever. Opens Monday – Saturday

Ampersand     (Electro)
A former members club that has recently been converted and thrown it's doors open to the public, Ampersand is one of the most attractive venues in Manchester and since a refit in early 2007, the busy Ampersand nightclub looks even better than before. Inside, the Ampersand looks great. It holds around 600 clubbers who can spread over a huge main room with 2 bars and an upstairs VIP suite. At the front of the club the DJ box sits just behind the main dance area, and behind that again is a stage with seating at both sides. The Ampersand club attracts a fashionable clientele and their door policy on dress is quite strict. Ampersand hosts the popular Saturday night Twisted Elegance and the weekly Plush on Fridays.

Audio Fusion plays Hip hop, soul, Latin, funk, jazz, broken beats, disco and house music session every Thursday. The club really does have something for everyone.

Babushka     (House)
Plush and very self-indulgent, this has to be one of the nicest Babushkas in the country. The DJ booth is on a mezzanine floor which overlooks the dance floor and plays host to some great DJ’s. There is also a great VIP furnished with white seating and black rugs. They also have 'seduce me' corners which are booths separated by red visor style screens and lit above by chandeliers. 6-9pm Work Wind Down & Cheap Cocktails 9-3am Funky House and Dance Classics

Cuba Cafe     (Funky House)
Cuba Cafe is a small club with the capacity of 150 people. With all its old radios, pictures and instruments from the 1940 - 50s it really has the feel of being abroad. The people that come to Cuba Cafe are mature and have a sense of culture they appreciate the authenticity of the club. Cuba Cafe has a distinct charm and warm friendly character like no other club in Manchester. Weekend events are for over 25’s only. Friday and Saturday nights now play a range of music from Salsa, Reggae, RnB, Soul, and rock ‘n’ roll.
